Stage 3 Term 3
Welcome back to another exciting and busy term up in Stage 3.
We continue to “Reach for the Stars” using our good manners, good thinking, and good learning.
This term, we look forward to our school concert, Athletics Carnival, STePS Musical Festival, PSSA Gala days, NSW Netball Cup, a visit to Kimberwalli for our First Nations students and Blackwell's Public Speaking Competition - just to name a few.

If your contact details have changed or change, please send an email to the school advising of these changes. Communication between school and home is essential in building positive partnerships so it is crucial this information is kept up to date.
Attendance is very important. The Department of Education requires a note to explain all absences. If your child is absent, you will receive a SMS from the school notifying you that your child has been marked absent and you can reply with reasons why. Alternatively, please send a note to school with your child upon returning to school.
Please encourage your child to wear Blackwell’s school uniform and clearly label their belongings.
We continue to participate in Crunch and Sip daily. This is an opportunity for our students to drink water and eat an extra serve of fruit or vegetables in class to promote good health and to help with learning and concentration. Please encourage your child to participate.
Don’t forget to regularly check our CLOSED Stage 3 Facebook group. This is a space where we will post and share information about what is happening up in Stage 3.
Homework is available via our student's Google classroom. It is issued on Mondays and is to be submitted on Fridays,
Lastly, one way you can get in contact with your child’s teacher is to email them. We will endeavour to get back to you as soon as possible.
If it is an emergency, please contact our front office on 9670 5080 to leave a message.
Until next time.
Kellie Balloch
Assistant Principal
