Blackwell’s sports houses are named after Aboriginal words which mean courage, determination, bravery and grit. These words are a combination of many Aboriginal dialects.
The sport house paintings hanging in our school hall were created by Adam Hill. Adam Hill is an accomplished painter, graphic designer and illustrator
Adam was arguably the first Koori artist to stage major solo exhibitions in his home town of Penrith, NSW.
